New Champions: KiLynn King Wins Women's Title; S2S Takes Cruiserweight Belt

HIALEAH, Fla. – There must be something in the water … or maybe the beer?

For the second straight month at Bash at the Brew, held at Unbranded Brewing Company, two of Coastal Championship Wrestling’s major titles changed hands.

Back in December, it was Cha Cha Charlie beginning his second CCW Heavyweight Championship reign and Jackal Stevens regaining the CCW Southeastern Championship. This past Saturday, it was KiLynn King defeating Marina Tucker for the CCW Women’s Championship and Alan “S2S” Martinez securing the CCW Cruiserweight Championship.

King, one of the fastest rising stars in all of professional wrestling, earned the No. 1 contender spot for the CCW Women’s Championship at Bash at the Brew 9 and cashed it in at Bash at the Brew 12. King and Tucker absolutely tore the house down, but in the end “The Mother Effing King” had her hand raised in victory and walked out of Unbranded Brewing Company with the belt.

Things may not be over between King and Tucker, however. As King was celebrating and being congratulated backstage, Tucker viciously assaulted her.

CCW has announced a rematch Feb. 12 in Port St. Lucie. Tickets available by clicking here!

Martinez has been steadily climbing the ranks here in CCW for the past several months. While the inaugural CCW Cruiserweight Champion Chris Farrow has been a fighting champion, defending the title all over the place, Martinez was the one to finally catch up to Farrow and end his reign at 282 days.

Martinez will make his first CCW Cruiserweight Championship title defense against Italian star D3, the Prince of Rome Saturday in Ocala at the Boys & Girls Club of Marion when Meldon Law and CCW present Worlds Collide. Should Martinez be successful against D3, he’ll face Farrow in a rematch for the title on Sunday in Homestead as CCW presents the Sunday Slam Series, a new monthly show at the Miami Brewing Company.
