This past weekend, Coastal Championship Wrestling (CCW) brought the heat to The Tank Brewing Company with an unforgettable night of action at Bash at the Brew 48. From shocking betrayals to triumphant returns, here’s everything that went down:
CCW Women’s Championship Match: Ruthie Jay def. Kristin Blaze
After a stellar debut at Breakout 38, Kristin Blaze challenged Ruthie Jay for the CCW Women’s Championship. With a mix of skill and determination, Kristin came close to an upset, capitalizing on the miscommunication between Ruthie and Nikki Blackheart. However, Ruthie endured the onslaught and secured the victory. Post-match, the brewing tension boiled over as Nikki Blackheart was tired of the disrespect and turned on Ruthie, standing tall and making it clear that she’s ready to carve her own path in The Last Territory.
Southeastern Championship Open Challenge: Gangrel Returns to CCW
Originally set to face Sean Maluta, Domino’s title defense took an unexpected turn when travel issues sidelined his opponent. Domino issued an open challenge, which was answered by the Invoked (Nick Turner, Veritas, and Invidia). Before the match began, the Invoked launched a vicious attack—but the surprise return of Gangrel electrified the crowd. Teaming with Domino, the Vampire Warrior and the Southeastern Champion triumphed in an impromptu tag match, sealing the win with a stereo Impaler and Domino Effect DDTs.
Danny Briggs def. Danny Everbourne
The young and hungry Danny Everbourne continues to chase his first big win in CCW, but veteran Danny Briggs proved too good. Employing his experience and a controversial low blow out of the referee’s view, Briggs pinned Everbourne to secure the victory.
5 Star ERA def. Cha Cha Charlie & Jackal Stevens
In a match packed with drama and athleticism, 5 Star ERA emerged victorious when Cha Cha Charlie’s Mangu Splash was countered with knees to the ribs, leading to a quick roll-up pin. After the match, emotions overflowed as Cha Cha and Jackal Stevens embraced in what seemed like a heartfelt moment of unity. However, the shock of the night came when Jackal turned on Cha Cha, unleashing a brutal chair assault that left Cha Cha bloodied and unconscious. Even CCW commentator Dan Evans wasn’t safe from Jackal’s rampage, leaving the CCW landscape reeling in the aftermath.
Stallion Rogers def. Dirty Devin Diaz
This hard-hitting singles clash saw Stallion Rogers use cunning tactics, blinding Diaz with a fan’s drink before delivering a devastating pump handle piledriver to earn the pinfall victory.
The King’s Court
The King of The Last Territory, Edward Valentine, addressed his “loyal subjects” alongside his Night Rider, "Marvelous" Marvin Cruz. Taking aim at CCW Heavyweight Champion Meto, Valentine’s insults provoked the champ into storming the ring. Outnumbered, Meto was overwhelmed by Valentine’s forces until Maximus Khan of the Qrown made a surprise appearance. Together, Maximus and Meto cleared the ring, delivering two spears to Marvin Cruz and sending a powerful message. A tense stare-down between Meto and Maximus hinted at a possible future match-up. CCW Management has made it official, Meto vs. Maximus Khan for the Heavyweight Title at BASH 49.
6-Man Hialeah Street Fight: South American Alliance (Ariel Levy, Vinicious, & Alan Martinez) def. Monster Mosh (Ozzy Kilmeister, Skitz, & Agony)
The main event brought hardcore chaos to The Tank as these six warriors brawled across the venue. Chairs, trash cans, tables, and more were used as weapons, with even legendary manager Bill Alfonso getting involved. Fonzie took a glass tray to the head, adding to the mayhem. In the end, the South American Alliance’s resilience and teamwork secured the win, delivering a devastating double powerbomb-Meteora combo on Ozzy Killmeister through a table for the pin.
Bash at the Brew 48 delivered drama, action, and surprises, leaving fans eagerly anticipating what’s next in CCW. The future of The Last Territory looks more unpredictable than ever. Stay tuned for the fallout from this explosive event!
